CHEST

Chest

Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it horizontal and snug but not tight. Make sure the tape sits just under your armpits.

Tip: Keep your arms relaxed at your sides while measuring for the most accurate result.
WAIST

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually about an inch above your navel. Keep the tape comfortably snug.

Tip: Breathe normally and don't suck in your stomach for a true measurement.
HEM WIDTH

Hemming

The hem width is measured straight across the bottom of the shirt from one side seam to the other while the garment is laid flat.

Tip: Lay the shirt flat on a surface before measuring to avoid any bunching or distortion.
SHOULDER

Shoulder

Measured from the tip of one shoulder seam to the tip of the other, across the back of the shirt while laid flat.

Tip: Ensure the shirt is laid completely flat and the collar is neatly positioned before measuring.
LENGTH

Length

Measured from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to the bottom hem of the shirt.

Tip: Keep the tape vertical and taut without stretching the fabric.
COLLAR Measure around neck band

Collar

Measure around the full circumference of the collar band when the shirt is buttoned. Keep the tape snug against the inside of the band.

Tip: For body measurement, wrap the tape around your neck where the collar sits and add ½ inch for comfort.
